Physical and chemical properties:
White or colorless transparent orthorhombic crystal, slightly sour. Toxic! The relative density is 1.52, the melting point is 125.6℃, and the boiling point is 240℃

Product use:
In case of moisture, water decomposes toxic fluoride, nitrogen oxides and ammonia gas. Soluble in water is a weak acid, which can dissolve glass, slightly soluble in alcohol, and extremely soluble in cold water. The aqueous solution is strongly acidic, can sublimate at higher temperature, corrode glass, and is corrosive and toxic to skin. It can be used as a chemical reagent, a glass etchant (used in combination with hydrofluoric acid), a disinfectant and preservative for fermentation industry, a solvent for preparing metallic beryllium from beryllium oxide, and a surface treatment agent for silicon steel plates. It can also be used for cleaning and descaling ceramics, magnesium alloys, boiler water supply systems and steam generation systems, as well as acid treatment of oilfield sandstone, and also as a catalyst component for alkylation and isomerization. Used in beryllium smelting, welding electrodes, cast steel, wood preservatives, etc.
