The hexafluorobisphenol AF vulcanizing agent is white powder or crystal, slightly soluble in water, soluble in ethanol and ether, with a melting point of 160-163 degrees and a boiling point of 350-400 degrees, and can be decomposed and burned when heated to 510 degrees. It is mainly used as a vulcanizing accelerator for fluororubber. The fluororubber vulcanized with FF34 has small deformability and high tensile strength. It can also be used as a pharmaceutical intermediate. It is widely used in aviation, aerospace, automobile, train, chemical industry, household appliances and other industries.

Uses: Bisphenol AF is mainly used for vulcanizing or crosslinking fluororubber, and is often combined with vulcanization accelerator such as triphenyl phosphorus chloride (BTPPC). When used as a vulcanizing agent, the final product of fluororubber containing bisphenol AF is easy to process and has superior properties, including compression deformation, chemical resistance, and thermal stability. Bisphenol AF can also be used as monomer for special polyimide, polyamide, polyester, polycarbonate, and other polymers. Polymers containing bisphenol AF can be used in high temperature resistant profiled parts, electronic materials, gas permeable membranes, and other special polymer applications.
