Properties: molecular weight: 260.0024. Bismuth hydroxide. White amorphous powder. The density is 4.36g/cm3. At 100℃, it loses 1 molecule of water and becomes yellow bismuth hydroxide. Soluble in acid. Insoluble in water and alkali, easily gelatinous. It is prepared by sodium hydroxide acting on bismuth salt solution.
