Our silicon nitride ceramic powder has high purity, high nitrogen content, narrow particle size distribution, high sintering activity, stable chemical composition, decomposition resistance, high temperature oxidation resistance, especially high temperature strength, and self-lubricating effect, which forms fine dispersed phase in the composite material, thus greatly improving the comprehensive properties of the composite material.

Si3N4 contains two crystal forms, one is α-Si3N4 needle crystal, and the other is β-Si3N4 compact granular polyhedron or short prism, both of which are hexagonal.

Remarks: This product should be sealed and stored in a dry and cool environment, and should not be exposed to the air for a long time, so as to avoid reunion due to moisture, which will affect the dispersion and use effect.

The excellent performance of silicon nitride ceramics has special use value for the working environment with high temperature, high speed and strong corrosive medium that modern technology often encounters. The outstanding performances are:
(1) High mechanical strength, hardness close to corundum, self-lubrication and wear resistance. The bending strength at room temperature can be as high as 980MPa, which can be compared with alloy steel, and the strength can be maintained at 1200℃ without decreasing.
(2) It has good thermal stability, small thermal expansion coefficient and good thermal conductivity, so it has good thermal shock resistance, and it will not crack under thermal shock from room temperature to 1000℃.
(3) The chemical properties are stable, and it can resist the corrosion of almost all inorganic acids (except HF) and caustic soda (NaOH) solution with the concentration below 30%, and it can also resist the corrosion of many organic substances, and it is non-wetting to various nonferrous metal melts (especially aluminum liquid) and can withstand intense radiation irradiation.
(4) Low density, small specific gravity, only 2/5 of steel, and good electrical insulation.
