Physical and chemical properties:
Colorless or white hexagonal crystal powder. Odorless and tasteless. The relative density is 2.679g/cm3; It absorbs moisture. Soluble in solvents such as ether, insoluble in alcohol. Solubility in acid is greater than that in water. Decompose in alkaline solution to produce sodium fluoride and silicon dioxide. Product use:
Used as preservative in wood industry; Moisture absorbent for acid-resistant cement. Used as a whitening agent for glass and enamel; Used in pesticide industry to make pesticides; Natural latex products are used as coagulants, additives in zinc electroplating, nickel and iron ternary coatings, and also as plastic fillers. In addition, it is also used for fluorination treatment of pharmaceuticals and drinking water, and manufacturing artificial cryolite and sodium fluoride.
