This product is light yellow or white powder, easily soluble in ether, chloroform, xylene, toluene and sodium hydroxide aqueous solution, slightly soluble in ethanol and slightly soluble in water.
As a co-stabilizer of calcium/zinc hydroxide stabilization system, it is widely used in various PVC products, especially for light-colored transparent products (such as PVC profiles, PVC pipes and fittings, wires and cables, injection-molded products, toys, etc.)
1. When it is used in coordination with the main stabilizer Ca/Zn or Ba/Zn, it can reduce the early coloring of products, improve the heat resistance and transparency in the later period, and precipitate and “zinc burning” during processing.
2. It has excellent color retention effect on PVC, and good weather resistance effect, which protects PVC color very well.
Health hazard: this product is a low-toxic PVC stabilizer, which is basically harmless to human body.
Danger of explosion: this product is flammable, which can cause explosion when the dust in the air seriously exceeds the standard.
